"Nature creates but never duplicates",so two pieces of wood, even from the same tree, are never exactly alike. Due to the difference in natural color and grain, each piece of wood will react differently to the finishing materials used.
Contrasting grain patterns and shades in wood parts add to the natural beauty of wood solids and veneers. The beauty of natural wood cabinetry really comes from the true natural and varying qualities of the wood itself.
Hamilton Thorne Quality Cabinets utilizes only select hardwoods and veneers. Natural wood varies in color from shades of white, red, black, and even green areas. Mineral streaks may be visible where parts of the tree have absorbed minerals differently in one area than in another. Occasional pin Knots are inherent to natural wood cabinets.
Grain and apparent texture will vary from even to absolutely random. These natural variations will be present throughout your kitchen. They can occur on adjacent cabinets, between pairs of doors and drawers on the same cabinet, even on the same panel. These same variations will be seen on the edges of hardwood veneer doors or flush styled door and drawer fronts where solid lumber cores are exposed.
It is important to consider these characteristics of natural wood cabinetry, because the effect of these variations in an entire kitchen may be different from what you now visualize in viewing a smaller display or finished sample. The variations can at times be broad; but they are all part of the beauty of natural wood.
Please note: Every effort is made to provide our customers with a quality product to meet your expectations, however Hamilton Thorne Quality Cabinets Ltd. can not be held responsible for the type of, or degree of, natural wood variations you may actually experience in your actual kitchen.
